Operating everything from labor to administration, I grew revenue to $24k within my second year without financial or physical assistance—with my two hands I did everything. After reaching $32k, and only $300 for a Google Ad budget, I had to build infrastructure, hire employees, and increase ad spend to continue growing and competing. After many lifelong farmers screamed at me to, Get out while you can, and seeing the saturated, volatile nature of hemp and farming in general, I decided to sell. Though, I learned a wide array of digital skills, building and coding websites on many platforms—because of hemp’s high risk, I always had to switch hosts.

Beyond development and support, I refined my copy and design, gaining first-page ranking amongst large competitors for certain keywords, with some of them copying my copy; a one-man operation against large brands with large budgets. One farm even stole my product rebranding and trademarked it; I was going to repeal, but changed the name and trademarked the new brand before releasing, including trademarking my farm brand—filing them myself.

Years working under the humid sun, farming hemp and vegetables, allowed me to realize the importance of marketing; if you can’t sell what you grow then it’s useless. It was a one-man operation, and understanding the hard reality of farming (especially in hemp) I decided not to take on more debt, even declining an investment of $500k. My dream of farming became a reality, but in the process, I realized my true love is advertising, copywriting, design, and development. So, I sold my farm. Now, I advertise, sharing my skills and experience with others so they can achieve the success of their dreams—just like I did.
