On my first day, I was asked to find grants the organization could apply for — "that should keep him busy for a while." I came back the same day with twelve. My supervisor told me to slow down or they'd run out of things for me to do.

They didn't. They handed me an event and the reins: I designed the flyer, booked the venue, contacted sponsors, and lined up raffle prizes — everything in place within two weeks, on a fifteen-hour-a-week schedule. They gave me their Salesforce CRM to manage, and for the 40th anniversary, they trusted me with the logo.

Fifteen hours a week is plenty if none of them are wasted.
